Habakkuk 2:18-20

¹⁸ “What ^(A)profit is the ^[a]idol when its maker has carved it,
Or ^[b]an image, a ^(B)teacher of falsehood?
For its maker ^(C)trusts in his own handiwork
When he fashions speechless idols.
¹⁹ “Woe to him who ^(D)says to a piece of wood, ‘^(E)Awake!’
To a mute stone, ‘Arise!’
And that is your teacher?
Behold, it is overlaid with ^(F)gold and silver,
And there is ^(G)no breath at all inside it.
²⁰ “But the ^(H)Lord is in His holy temple.
^[c]Let all the earth ^(I)be silent before Him.”
